GALLBLADDER:The organ measures 88x 20 mm,containing several non- shadowing echogenic structuers with gravity dependent motion the largest measuring 5mm. The gallbladder wall thickness is normal. The CBD is not dilated.. What does it mean? I m asking in behalf of someone close to me
If your friend has no symptoms such as severe abdominal pain with vomiting such type of stones can be treated with the help of a gall stone dissolution drug called Ursodeoxycholic acid. It helps in gradual dissolution of gallstones which may require 6-18 months of duration.
